Directions from: Tada · Sullurupeta · Sri Kalahasti · Tirupati

Chennai → Tada by suburban train

Board at Chennai Central Suburban / Moore Market Complex (MASS) — beside MGR Central, not the long-distance platforms. Buy an unreserved ticket to Tada. Valid for both Sat 19 and Sun 20 Dec (42801 runs Sundays).

Suburban/MEMU trains are unreserved and can be crowded — keep luggage compact and allow time to find the suburban platform.

Faster reserved trains, Chennai → Sullurupeta (Sun 20 Dec)

These do not stop at Tada — book to Sullurupeta (SPE) and arrange a pickup there.

From Hyderabad / Secunderabad / Kacheguda

For an early Guru Darshan arrival, Sullurupeta or Sri Kalahasti is better than Tirupati. Board on Saturday the 19th:

Day-before option: 20701 Vande Bharat leaves Secunderabad 6:10 AM Saturday, reaches Tirupati 2:35 PM.

From Bengaluru / Mysuru / Karnataka

Arriving on Saturday is much safer than a long road transfer after a Sunday-morning arrival.

Reaching Tirupati/Renigunta after midnight? Pre-book the cab — a Sunday-morning public-bus transfer may miss the early hours of the event.

From Vijayawada, coastal Andhra & Visakhapatnam

Day-before: 12078 Jan Shatabdi, Vijayawada 3:30 PM Sat → Sullurupeta 8:58 PM. From Puri/Bhubaneswar, 17479 Puri–Tirupati reaches only by Sunday evening — suitable for a late visit only.

From Mumbai, Pune & western India

From Gujarat, MP, Vidarbha and Telangana stations on the Navajivan route, book through to Sullurupeta rather than Chennai.

From Delhi, Kolkata, eastern & north-eastern India

From Kerala, Coimbatore, Erode & Salem

By bus — services on the Ekam road

APSRTC runs between Chennai Madhavaram and Sri Kalahasti via Tada and Varadaiahpalem — Ekam (Bathalavallam) is reached between Tada and Varadaiahpalem town. Tell the conductor before Tada: "Bathalavallam, Ekam Oneness Temple."

No early-morning Madhavaram departure is currently published — for the 6:00 AM reporting time from Chennai, use the 4:20 / 5:00 AM suburban train or a cab.

From Tirupati Central Bus Station, ordinary and express APSRTC buses run to Sri Kalahasti roughly every 15 minutes — change there to a Chennai/Tada-bound service. Budget route, 2.5–3.5 hours with the change; a direct pickup is preferable on the event day. Local buses and share autos also run from Sullurupeta, Tada and the Satyavedu side.
