From Ménière’s Disease to Restored Hearing

Namaste, My name is Stephenny Chow, writing to you from Malaysia - a devoted follower of Oneness, and today, a deeply grateful soul.

Before anything else, I bow in reverence and offer my heartfelt gratitude to our beloved enlightened masters, Sri Preethaji and Sri Krishnaji, whose wisdom teachings and boundless blessings have transformed my life in ways I once could only dream of.

I wish to share with you something precious - the miracles and gifts I received at the very first Oneness Health Festival, held in February 2026 at Ekam, where I had the joy of attending alongside my sister and two dear friends.

My Journey with Ménière’s Disease

My story begins in 1999, when I was first struck by a condition known as Ménière’s disease — a chronic inner ear disorder that brings with it sudden, debilitating episodes of severe vertigo, fluctuating hearing loss, tinnitus, and an unrelenting feeling of pressure within the ear.

My ENT specialist discovered that an unknown virus, made possible by a deeply weakened immune system - itself worn down by severe workplace stress — had damaged my right inner ear. In the early days, the vertigo came only briefly and occasionally, often dismissed as a simple ear blockage. Life felt manageable, if fragile.

Then came 2005, and everything changed.

The vertigo began attacking me almost every single day. I journeyed from one specialist to another, searching desperately for answers, only to be met with uncertainty and misdiagnosis after misdiagnosis. I was profoundly unwell. The fear of losing my livelihood pressed heavily upon me, and slowly, I slipped into depression. The world I had known felt very far away.

It was through divine grace that I found the courage one day to admit myself to hospital. There, I was guided to the right professor — a gifted ENT specialist - who finally gave my suffering a name, prescribed the proper treatment, and helped me find my footing again. My vertigo came under control. My healing had begun.

The Oneness Journey

In 2015, drawn above all by my longing for true healing - for my health, for the constant imbalance in my ear - I stepped onto the path of Oneness. What unfolded over the years that followed was nothing short of a quiet miracle in itself. My health improved significantly and profoundly. While the vertigo remained controlled, my right ear continued to carry its burdens - hearing loss, tinnitus, and that ever-present sense of fullness. It did not overwhelm my daily life, yet deep in my heart, I held an unspoken prayer: I wish to be fully healed.

Just before I departed for the Health Festival, my annual hearing check confirmed what I already knew - approximately 60% hearing loss in my right ear.

I arrived at Ekam carrying a single, luminous intention: complete healing. A healthy, fully functioning right ear.

The Miracles

And then… the gifts arrived.

On the very first day, during a powerful process, the chronic tension and discomfort of a long-held back muscle pull - something that had quietly stolen my comfort for so long - simply dissolved. Gone. Healed.

But the second gift… this one brought me to tears.

On the final day, after receiving the sacred Longevity and Great Health Deeksha from Sri Krishnaji himself, something extraordinary happened. My right ear - the one that had carried 60% hearing loss - began to hear clearly again. A dream I had nurtured for years, a longing I had held so tenderly in my heart, had finally, beautifully, become real. The tinnitus remains, yes - but the hearing that I feared I had lost forever has been restored to me.

I wept with gratitude. My long-awaited dream had come true.
